Snorkeling in Iceland

Snorkeling in Iceland

Welcome to the Silfra fissure, located in the Þingvellir National Park, in Iceland. The rift which is between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, was created by an earthquake, and filled with glacial meltwater from the Langjökull glacier. It’s crystal clear waters only reach 4° during summer, which means wearing a drysuit is necessary during this amazing experience.
