About Me

About Me

Who am I?

An oceanholic, a whale lover, and a french diver!

My name is Stéphanie, I’m 30 years old, and work in the tourism industry.
I’ve always been interested in photography and, like most of you, started with disposable cameras when I was a child. I grew up at the same time as digital photography evolved and finally entered a photography school in 2011.
After 2 years studying film photography and development, use of old and brand new cameras, studio lighting through portraits and still life, I realised that my heart belonged by the ocean and dedicated my entire school project to it.

During the same year, with my interest for underwater photography deepening, I had my very 1st dive with a French diving center, in Marseille, on the Mediterranean coast. A couple of years later, I decided to pass my 1st certification on a French island, known as the «Beauty Island», Corsica, and continued training in an associative club, back in my hometown for a year. In 2019 I finally decided to pass my Advanced Open Water certification, and to focus on taking UW pictures!

In the meantime? I’m planning all my upcoming holidays to include diving trips. So far, I’ve already dived in France, Spain, Japan, Reunion Island, Iceland, Malta, Egypt, Thailand, and the Azores.
